CocoRosie behind the scenes, wearing some cheeky clothes from Line Gallery
A little over a week ago, Ok so maybe 2 weeks, I helped a good friend of mine style the Cocorosie girls for a shoot in a music mag in Berlin. The shoot will be out in Umag.
photographer: A friend, Bernhard Musil.
styling: Mody Al Khufash who is a very close friend of mine and a fantastic stylist.
I took a few pretty snaps you will see more after the 29th of April
Here are a few:
Come into Line Gallery before it relocates at the end of April to a yet to be disclosed location. All we know is that it won't be in Berlin - so this month is the last chance for Berliners to take advantage of Australian imported directly to their doorsteps. We will, however, be opening on-line store soon. Keep an eye out for it!

Ksubi Jeans now in store. They're not wearing them, but I'm sure you would love them.
What are those hot boots? Everyone on the shoot wanted a pair of the wonderful Illex Kinni boots (first two pairs from front), including the CocoRosie girls. Also Roni wanted her shoes back (brown, third from front).

Put Your Pants Back On
It's cold now. No more short shorts, no more summer dresses, no more fun. It's is time to get serious, get off the beach and go back to work. So for the Back-to-School/Office push, start looking into a new pair of pants, and of those, we have plenty.
Here are some examples, you may have seen a few of these before, but come try them on, you never know with pants.

Keep your eye out for upcoming events at Line Gallery this fall, and for god's sake keep your pants on.

Hot Hot Hot in Berlin

Hotter in Melbourne?
Not really.
The pace is picking up at Line Gallery, despite the heat.
To start off the blog, we want to tell you a little bit about the labels we are carrying.
Today's installment is about Claude Maus (www.claudemaus.com). Based out of Melbourne, Claude Maus has consistently been one of the most exciting labels in Australia since its founding.
A note about their origins (quoted from their Myspace):
Claude Maus was originally a pseudonym under which artist and graphic designer Rob Maniscalco exhibited art projects. Evolving into a fashion label in 1999, Claude Maus very quickly established Maniscalco as one of Australia's most dynamic and challenging fashion designers with his popular first collection. In 2003 Claude Maus won the L'Oreal Designer of the Year in both Men's and Women's categories.
The lady of the house here, Sam, used to work for Claude Maus in Melbourne and has stayed committed to them throughout the years. Rob, the designer and founder of the brand, continues to amaze us every season with his preemptive creativity and his ability to remain the leader of the pack while still keeping his eyes and ears open to the rest of the hounds.
The beautiful and often luxurious fabrics that he uses add to the overall exquisitness of the quality of the product. Each piece is as well made locally in Melbou
